Maybe it's better to be ignorant in some aspects of life but having strong discipline between fights than being a good guy like Leonard but with stories of drug usage. The problem is that fighters who wants to be like Floyd skip the part about the discipline and other great things that they really should learn from him and taking the worst things from Floyd
yeah....the problem with alot of these guys is they wanna start being 30 year old floyd when they are 23

and everyone is looking for the next "floyd"...but people forget floyd toiled in relative obscurity(outside the hardcore audience) for many years.....some of these kids expect to start acting like him and getting the same attention at 23

some of these guys are in their mid to early and 20s and wanna act like floyd in the floyd/mcgregor camp instead of being the floyd that worked hard for years before breaking through

HBO boxing won't die, it'll continue but at half the output - HBO get so much money from their TV programming (tv shows) they can afford to keep it going till things pick up.

And Arum said Nelson was trying to matchmake.
HBO had a chance to match the 250M SHO/Mayweather deal ?

That’s pure propoganda, HBO couldn’t match it as their budget was already being cut then aswell

Showtime boxing didn't have the budget either. Stephen Espinoza had to convince his bosses in order to make that pitch.

And HBO not being able to match it doesn't mean they weren't given the opportunity to do so. They just couldn't do it.

Yes, Showtime Parent Company had to finance it. CBS had to give it the green light

But the other guy said HBO didn’t have the chance to match the 250M Offer.

Oh he said they DIDN'T? They surely did. Just weren't willing to shell out the money.

First of all it aint propaganda. He was under contract with HBO and they had a chance to match any offer he was given.

Second of all if they would've matched it they wouldn't be having the budget issues they're having now. They lost Floyd and Canelo at the same time.

All the promoters jumped ship and now have secured deals with other Networks with more dates / money. How is HBO going to survive if they don't adapt to the times?
lol survive? HBO doesn't need boxing at all! how many subscribers does showtime have? Has pbc actually increased their subscriberships? No it hasn't. HBO chose to get out of the boxing business it's a niche sport they were the kings of boxing for over thirty years HBO still has more subscribers than showtime.
