People on here don’t like it but the reality is whether here in the U.K or the U.S casual fans make up the majority of ppv buys that’s just the reality of it, it’s why Showtime haven’t had a ppv in years (may/mac doesn’t count) they know their current stable ain’t those type of draws..yet.

For some strange reason, what the porters said in this article does not sound genuine to me. Unifications always trump mandatories, so there should be absolutely no reason that this fight doesnt happen.. AL just inked a new deal with both fox and showtime so the money is there. If porter does not fight spence in 2019, it will be porter ducking spence AGAIN!

Feel sorry for Ugas, who's been on a couple of eliminations with no chance at a belt yet, but I rather see Porter is Spence than any of them against Ugas. And I think, if this fight happens, even as Ugas is the no. 1 challenger to both Porter and Spence, the winner of them still will find a way not to fight Ugas.

No I'd fight Spence try to stick him with the jab and use my athleticism to overwhelm him with a high work rate. Then use ring generalship to avoid a big body shot or something up top. Then I'd proceed to get slept 15 seconds into the fight.

He might not be that exciting, but he earned his shot by winning IBF and WBC eliminators, I don't think he beats Porter, Danny, Spence, Crawford or Thurman but there seems to be very little interest on the champions other than Porter in fighting each others.
