Sweet. I wonder if Bivol still gets a co-main gig still?

Kathy Duva is a sham promoter.

The network Kathy fought so hard to keep Kovalev on and even backed out of a purse bid they requested with Stevenson, has turned their back on the Krusher. Sad state of affairs

Very sad. And Kovalev fought everybody they put in front of him

Need to see how the fight does and how the ensuing negotiations go, but I still think that the consolidation is happening faster than we thought.

HBO's take on Alvarez's PPVs, plus the independent boxing budget being reduced again (no real idea what the actual budget is, but take that number and cut another $5m), will leave enough money to cover the 8-10 shows per year for a Golden Boy schedule.

Alvarez beats Golovkin and he's WBC/WBA 160lb champion; vs Jermall Charlo, vs Daniel Jacobs, and vs Lemieux/O'Sullivan winner immediately fill Canelo's PPV card for the two dates in 2019.
