I personally don't care what any of them has to say anymore because it's been the 2nd most boring build up in superfight history. The most boring was Canelo vs GGG I. Neither side has any trash talking/fight-selling skills. It's been painful reading the weakass back and forth jibes. Nearly over

I was surprised as well Canelo didnt have a problem with him judging the rematch as well. His card wasnt bad but he scored the 3rd round for GGG?? And I thought that was one of Canelo's best rounds???This could be interesting for GGG. Because if he throws more and is more agressive in the rematch, Moretti will certainly score it again for GGG. That’s means, he would only need (1) other judge to score it for him. I’m sure judges re-watch the fights they scored. And if GGG shows any improvements in the rematch for Moretti, he will favor him. I’m not sure why Canelo’s camp didn’t request ALL new judges that have 0 subjectivity.Comment

For GGG to be more aggressive, then he was in the first fight, he would have to bring a machine gun into the ring. GGG rarely took a step backwards in the first fight, but Canelo was slipping most of his shots when GGG caught him.
GGGs problem was that his shots were telegraphed and looping, while Canelos shots were tight and accurate.
I can't stand Canelo, but I'd give him the nod in the first fight.
To GGGs defence, he looked nervous and fought like shyt the whole night, and Canelo looked full of energy and possibly juiced up.Comment

I saw the 3rd round the same way you did but the judge that scored the fight a draw gave Canelo the 7th round. A lot of boxing experts, the commentators, and analysts had that round for GGG. The 1st round was questionable too. I had that for Canelo and it was given to GGG.
But the 7th round was also scored by Byrd for GGG. You know the judge who scored the fight 118-110 for Canelo. The judges were all screwed up in that 1st fight. Which is why they should have replaced every single judge. I just don’t want any excuses by anyone rooting for either fighter.Comment

I “could” agree with everything you just said except I can see how it was scored a draw. And for a lot of the reasons you just stated. It’s all about how the judges “perceive” the fight as they are scoring it and who they think is controlling and dictating the fight. I could make a case for Canelo winning the 1st, 7th, and last round and winning a decision but I can see how the judges could go the other way. Except for Byrd. That judge needs to be drug tested and banned. But hey, it was a draw and now we as fans have more excitement for the rematch. With the 1st fight being scored a draw, we know one of them has to go outside of their comfort zone and take more risks to be great in the rematch. We win as fans. I can’t wait until Saturday. For GGG to be more aggressive, then he was in the first fight, he would have to bring a machine gun into the ring.
