Let`s hope so. Ideal world. make Crawford -Thurman and Porter -Spence, and winners fight.

Crawford made the money move, but it won't help him get fight the best fighters!
I hope we are both wrong but feel the sport is going to miss out on Crawford-Spence. I think Spence will outgrow 147 by 2021 which is probably the earliest the fight would happen.

If Crawford fights Ramirez, Taylor and Adames in the next 18-24 I won't be that upset. That's actually good stuff.

He's going to need that truly defining fight though and I think the same for the PBC guys. Whoever comes out as the #1 from that round robin will have to fight Crawford otherwise it's going to be something potentially big they missed too.

That's the hope is that Crawford keeps dominating and there's a last man standing on the PBC side and the promoters have to make the fight due to fan demand. Usually when cooler heads sit down to make a must have match-up it's done despite big obstacles.

So meanwhile Spence best option is Mikey Garcia and maybe a fight with Danny Garcia if he doesn't get the Porter fight. Because Porter is going to fight Ugas before he thinks about getting in the ring with Spence.
I doubt Porter fights Ugas, especially if he knows Thurman is next! I can see Porter fighting Pacquiao, especially if Khan screws up! I think Spence will fight Mikey in 1st Quarter of 2019, and if not Mikey then Ugas. What I want Spence to do, is to call GBP and ask to fight Canelo on Cinco De Mayo 2019! Canelo is a bigger fight than Thurman, Crawford, and Porter combined!

I don't think Spence will be a WW in 2020, and if things work how I want them...

          August 13, 2018:

In this video interview caught by Fight Hub TV, Golden Boy promoter Oscar De La Hoya is asked about his interest in possibly making a fight between Canelo Alvarez and Errol Spence Jr. Check out what he had to say...

“Absolutely. Canelo is always willing and ready to face the very best and I believe Errol Spence can come up a couple weight divisions and challenge a fighter like Canelo and that’ll be a superfight.

“But you have to come and talk to us because we would know how to stage that type of event. We would really make that a super event with Canelo and Spence but obviously first thing is first. Spence has his plans and Canelo has — we have our plans so we’ll see what happens in the future but I’m hoping I get that knock at the door from Spence, that one day he wants to be involved in a major pay-per-view.”

Unless Spence signs with GBP for multiple I think his chances of getting that fight are so minimal unless Haymon lets GBP do all the promotion and Spence becomes one of the 2-3 biggest names in the sport.

I think Canelo will be at 168 by the time Spence is at 154 too.

I don't know if he would (because Oscar attempted to sue Haymon) but I really hope Al would make that happen for Spence! Spence already has a great relationship with Jerry Jones, and Jerry Jones knows that Canelo vs. Spence in Texas would be bigger than Wilder vs. Joshua! Maybe Al and Oscar could meet with Jerry Jones and make history!

Keith isn't anything until he fights again and beats a top fighter.
