HBO did a study a few years back and they determined there were 700 thousand hard core fans in the US. I I always thought this to be true. The number's proved it! We had a family gathering Sat night. The consensuses was most of the males wanted to see the USC Stanford game. Pop's and I saw the whole card in the spare room. By the time the main event was on (USC) was loosing, the family capitulated to boxing!

Boxing has to play it smart!

You don't want to go against the NFL, NBA Finals, MLB Finals, World Cup, NCAA Bowl games and the Olympics!

You can play around them! Boxing can own Saturday once or twice a month if they play their cards right!

Never going to do a big number on Showtime, Saturday night opposite college football. Terrible numbers even adding in streaming. Steven for all his talk needs to kick this platform in the a$$, he's got great fights and no one watches.

Agreed I have been saying this for a while PBC is only sticking with Showtime because they had a good relationship one that's built on trust. However Showtime hasn't been pulling its weight. Think about it!! PBC had NBC on board and Now has FOX if Showtime cant even put fights on CBS or promote the fighters to a large audience what good are they

I believe haymons sticking with them for keeping his word purposes or hopes of getting a deal with CBS.
