The reality of all this is Showtime will not bat an eyelash at those numbers. They are not advertisement funded. They are more interested in providing a variety of programming to their subscribers. If their overall subscribers are still increasing overall, then they are happy.


Now if they got super low views, like 50K over a long period of time, they would then determine that their subs are no longer interested in boxing and would move on to something else.


ESPN, Fox etc are the ones depending on ratings.

Terrible numbers. The purse for Danny was more than the entire super fly and they did 60% as many homes... In fact I'm sure both Danny and Shawn got more than a million so purses for showtime card were probably 5 times as much as HBO... Terrible showtime.
