Wilder only had 1 fight on SHO with the Washington fight on Fox. These were time buys that got increasingly cheaper as far as the caliber of fighters purses. That all changes now with FOX actually paying for the fights. What do you think Victor Ortiz, Ivan Redach and Fonfara are going to headline FOX cards now? You must be high out of your mind.

Fox is going to want a good ROI so some of these top fights will go to FOX that would have been on SHO before. That isn't debatable. The fact that Kennie Porter already stated that a Spence fight would have to be on PPV is just telling you more and more of these guys are going to be shifted to PPV or to FOX. Sure SHO will still have some good fights. I never said they wouldn't but to think that their quality isn't going to suffer with Wilder going PPV and Spence likely going to PPV (and taking Mikey or Porter with him) will dilute the quality of cards.

Maybe you enjoy watching Sakio Bika, Devon Alexander, Andre Berto, Josesito Lopez and Anthony and Andre Dirrell but those retreads just don't do it for me
Guys like the Charlo Bros will be headliners on Fox and Showtime now.
PBC cards will be headlined by the likes of Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Jermell & Jermall Charlo, Gervonta Davis, Robert Easter, Jarrett Hurd, Leo Santa Cruz, David Benavidez Abner Mares, Omar Figueroa, Adonis Stevenson, Erislandy Lara as well as well as their "Go-To" guys Adrien Broner (he is still a HUGE draw,) Keith Thurman, Mikey Garcia, Errol Spence and Deontay Wilder thosr five guys who they're all probably looking at to headline PPV's.

And how many of those guys have fought on SHO the last few years? And how many of those fighters were in big mismatches on SHO?

Hilarious how you list those guys, and don't mention the crap ESPN has put on this year. Did you forget the three consecutive mismatches in July? Only got lucky O'Connor almost killed himself making weight.

SHO did four international cards including two great match ups in Spence/Brook and Joshua/Klitschko. Is there something wrong with that?

WHO THE HELL SAID FOX WON'T BE HAVING GOOD MATCH UPS? Why do you keep bringing that up? Of course they will have good match ups, but SHO isn't paying big bucks for crap either. They increased their budget and will put on a few more cards in 2019 compared to the last few years. What the FOX deal does its it opens up for SHO dates for guys like the Charlo's as you can shift a Broner card to FOX or a Garcia vs Rios on FOX.

Even if Wilder is PPV from now on (I agree), you got the Charlo brothers, Spence, M.Garcia, DSG, Thurman, Davis, Broner, Benavidez, Lara, Hurd, Ortiz, Jack, Stevenson, Mares, LSC, GRJ, Easter, Porter, JRock, Uzcategui, Lipinets, etc. You think you will be having all those guys fill 10 FOX dates with two or three fights year? Nope. Haymon with his stable needed double the dates to keep everyone active, and now he has that.

Spence may fight Mikey on PPV, but he won't be fighting Porter on PPV after that. Unless he just does crazy numbers and becomes PPV star, it is unrealistic to expect that to happen. That Garcia fight will be a one off, and that's because Garcia will be wanting $5-6 million for that fight and Spence will want the same. Ideally you would hope a fight like that wouldn't be on PPV. FOX could use $11-12 million of their budget for that fight and still be in solid shape for the other 9 cards with around $40 million in their budget. But unfortunately that doesn't seem likely.

no way fox or any network pays that much for one fight let alone one card. My point is some of these guys will end up in ppv or fox which takes them off showtime. It’s just a fact. I didn’t say all their cards would be bad either.

I think u are being harsh on Espn. They have put in some great fights this year. Much better than last year. Valdez-Quigg, Ramirez-Hart, Jose Ramirez-Amir Imam, Verdejo-Lozada, Loma-Linares, Jennings-Diminchenko, Beltran-Moses, Saucedo-Lenny Z, etc were all good to great fights. Not counting Pac-Matthysse it Crawford Horn.

And Uzcategui headlines ESPN+ in 9/28. He’s not pbc. He’s with Zanfer. Plus Berchelt-Roman is coming to ESPN plus Saucedo-Hooker, Loma-Pedraza, crawford Benavidez. They have had a real good year if U look objectively. Sure there were a few mismatches but so did pbc like Tank-Cuéllar, Charlo-Centeno but both networks have had a good year.

I am not being harsh on ESPN. You tried making a snide comment and I just countered with what ESPN did in July.

Uzcategui will be still fighting on PBC cards, that's not changing. With the Plant fight delayed, he gets to fight a stay busy fight on ESPN. Zanfer does business with everyone and ESPN is desperate for fights.

Tank/Cuellar nor Charlo/Centeno were the headlinders. You can't even compare the main events from both networks. ESPN has definitely had some really good fights/shows, mixed with some big mismatches. Why? Simply put too many dates, and not enough top fighters.

Your couldn’t have a more bias view if you tried, I assume you have something against Eddie?
