Leonard Ellerbe handles the day-to-day operations of everything, but Mayweather Promotions does run it's own shows with it's own fighters without Haymon; they've got a show with Sam's Town in a couple weeks (don't know for sure, but it feels like it might be similar to Lou DiBella's Broadway Boxing series).

Al Haymon is a manager; if Floyd wants to utilize a Haymon fighter for one of his shows, as weird as it seems, Floyd/Leonard are going to have to call Haymon and negotiate a deal.
So why is Gervonta even signed to Mayweather promotions then? If I were him I would just leave and operate like Spence or Broner.

So Hearn gots his work cut out for him with getting attention in the US market with known players in the game &/or with a less expensive product (HBO, Showtime, ESPN/ESPN+) & now with freeeeeeeeee (*Steve Kim voice*) boxing on Fox with that best roster in the game PBC team its like Hearn has a uphill battle at gaining market share for DAZN in the boxing space.

Hearn is gonna try to crack the nut of the US market cuz thats the kinda cat he is, but idk how he does it just cuz he gots B sides of PBC opponents. Like I said I think that UK guy is gonna beat Tevin so Tevin is bout to be the C side by next month so what good does that do for Hearn to sign a US guy who gets beat by a UK guy who's not gonna enhance his US product?

Hearn needs A sides & he's not gonna get a A side PBC guy now for sure with this Fox deal. And Bob ain't gonna let him snipe any of his guys for damn sure. I suppose if HBO keeps slipping or closes down he could make moves on Canelo, GGG, Munguia & the Superflys & anyone else linked up with HBO these days so that might be his best bet with the openings he has currently.

He's signed to Mayweather Promotions for 2 more years. I'm assuming he will walk once his deal is up.

This deal originally was a amazing situation for him, but its turned super sour in recent months. If he'd not have gotten picked up by Floyd there is no doubt in my mind we wouldn't be talking about Tank like we do right now. He'd be on the regional level or best case fighting under Easter on About Billions cards maybe.

Because Gervonta Davis got his first break into boxing, really, by being a young kid that was brought to the gym by someone, who Floyd saw work, and liked what he saw.

It's all good now, but Davis' start isn't all that different from Badou Jack's; Floyd saw something, gave Jack a chance, helped him start to get something going, and then Haymon eventually took notice.

Errol Spence Jr was the ace of the US Olympic team and basically the crown ***el (with Joseph Diaz Jr being the next closest, imo); he had Haymon's interest early.

He's gonna lose a lot of that if he isn't careful (other than the Baltimore fans - they'll stay faithful).

Haymon for a man in such a powerful position seems extremely genuine. He wil llet Floyd use his name and probably get most of the acclaim but he more than likely does the business(or a team of people he has put together does)
