The guy is 27; if his stamina is still an issue, it will continue to be one.
Mayweather, Roy Jones, Hopkins, Ali, Chavez, Leonard, and a lot of great fighters, middleweights and below in lower divisions maintained their stamina throughout the fight historically. When did you start watching fights. Let me repeat; A LOT OF GREAT FIGHTERS FROM MIDDLEWEIGHT ON DOWN THROUGH THE YEARS HAVE HAD GREAT STAMINA THROUGHOUT THE FIGHT.

Here is the difference, when a fighter continues to punish you to the body throughout the fight and comes forward asserting pressure on you throughout the fight, that can challenge your physical plateau throughout the fight IF your not properly conditioned. THATS A FACT. But GGG only landed (8) body shots in that 1st fight.

I’m sorry if facts upset you. But even casual boxing fans who don’t even watch the sport could see Canelo took some rounds off that cost him the fight to preserve himself to rally to win rounds in that 1st fight. And most people saw he fought in spurts within rounds at a level he could not maintain throughout the fight. And most experts would agree with that accessment too. I guess you know a lot more than them. Don’t allow your hate for a fighter to destroy your objectivity as a fan. I don’t like Clenelo but I have to be objective about him.

Did you actually understand what I wrote? You took all that time to write that and in the end pretty much agreed with what I said. He fights in spurts; he took rounds off; couldn't maintain a consistent output. He's notorious for doing that because his stamina is average. All those fighters you mentioned had great stamina. That's something Canelo has never had and at this point won't. That's why I said what I did. If he hasn't shown he can fight for all 3 minutes a round, every round, the likelihood of him improving his conditioning enough to even come close to that is slim to none.

Your joking. Danny I like a lot but he isn't that good as a Welterweight. He's too selective with his punches..

We ain't speaking about how they fight. I'm saying Danny alone makes shawns resume better then ggg's.

If Porter beats someone who isn't really a top Welterweight how does that elevate him??

But name (1) time an older guy beat a younger fighter with faster hands and a more versatile fight arsenal in a rematch. Go ahead, I will wait. I may be wrapping Christmas gifts by the time you answer.
Canelo isnt very versatile nor does he have the better skills though. Hes got faster hands, elusive upper body movement but thats about it. His feet are pretty much concrete blocks. Seems like your comparing him to James Kirkland rather than an amatuer and world champion over many years.

I will make this comment short. Cardio, sparring, running, all improve stamina. Fighters can improve stamina in training for 6-8 months. And Canelo looked slimmer when he arrived yesterday. It’s pretty obvious his camp worked on conditioning more like they said they would.

I believe Canelo is and will show it on fight night. So we shall see on Saturday. We can talk all we want but they will fight. Let’s bet on it since you are so sure about GGG in this fight. If GGG wins, I won’t post here again. If Canelo wins, don’t post on here again-LOL!

Of course they want to work on it. It's been a big problem of his for years. Don't you think they would've improved it a long time ago after people kept saying after each fight "well only if his stamina was better...?"Like I said, he's 28. For a fighter that's been in the game as long as he has at that age, you would assume it's something he would've had by now. It's like people saying GGG needs more head and upper body movement. Sure he can work on it, but by now it's never going to be a major part of his style. Canelo has had years to work on stamina. I'm sure shedding the bulk he had from last fight will help, but as I said before, I think the improvement will only be marginal when it comes to conditioning.
