Gervonta Davis Treats his fans like this........

It was a prick move on Davis' part. Look, the VAST majority of people do not know who he is. I would have not tried to grab a selfie without asking, but still.
On a side note, he looks awfully bloated! Dare I say fat? Yep FAT!Comment

Redd come on. Some random dude is trying to film you on Sat night near midnight when you are out with your boys and already drunk as f-ck.Interesting that people deflect by focusing on the dummy with the phone. No one thinks that guy was doing anything right. But, we don't come here to talk about that guy. We come here to talk about guys like Davis, and if he's entitled to break someone's phone instead of just asking for space.
Not saying Tank was right, but there is no way any of us is going to politely ask him to stop taping please. LOL.Comment

Since when has being drunk anything other than an a**hole's excuse for bad behavior?
If someone bothered me I'd say, "alright, back off now..."
What he did is what little guys like him do when they get power.Comment

As soon as you add the BUT , yes you trying to say he was right. He's a public figure... Not an unknown NSB poster. Why trying to compare with people on here.Comment

No. I'm not. There is nuance dude. He can be wrong for slapping the phone but not wrong for feeling harassed by someone he doesn't know who gets in a shot like that.
I don't know you so maybe you would in that situation. Others, I'm not sure. For example Harden just slapped someone's phone like a month or so ago.
Yes, he absolutely could've handled it differently and better.
In this capacity he was just hanging out and the guy got involved when he shouldn't have.

wait a second...
I have read about four pages into this thread. This is a Baltimore fighter. So for example lets see how Andre Ward might deal with this by comparison. Your representing a part of the country that desperately wants to believe in something affirming success... you don't pick your fans, or how they dress, or even, beyond certain basic boundaries, how they express their support. I mean the guy didn't kiss Gervantes, he wanted a photo presumably... Thats the way this generation asks for an autograph.
That is claseless. You are fighting for fans, so you may have to put up with selfies from someone you may not respect... this was at an event, not at a restaurant where you are with your wife and proposing...
I doubt Andre Ward would have done that... If you don't want fans, don't fight for glory.Comment
