Its all in the numbers folks...forget about Eubank, his dad...the temperature in Haiti yesterday...

Eubank took a shot at the 1% club, those who have the skills, the character, the health, the luck and the support to be an excellent professional fighter. Sometimes a guy takes a shot and gets another shot, sometimes not....

I love to look at Fernando Vargas because he taught me so much about this process. Vargas went a lot farther than Eubank...but when he came up against the best, he fell down and never got up. Trinidad ruined him and that was that.

Groves was nowhere near Trinidad and he ruined Eubank. Eubank was not brought along nearly as carefully as Nando and got exposed by a top notch professional.... happens all the time, Eubank just another name.

So chalk it up to the game...Eubank talks a great game but I don't see him trying to get back in there and fix it...he knows he can't. Judah to his credit couldn't believe that he could be beat when Zoo showed him the ropes... But this kid? He don't want none of that real work, the kind of work where you alone believe you can do this, and you alone against the rest of the establishment will go out there and will it!

Ask yourself this question: How many guys have done that work? Showed the establishment they were wrong and went on to be great. I can't think of one right now frankly. They do exist bit Eubank ain't one of them.

      160 probably suits him better.

He's licking his wounds. After all the talk he was beaten soundly by groves and that will have hurt him. I still think he can win a world title at either weight but he needs to ditch his dad and find a decent coach. You can't win at world level without decent coaching.

he is what he is, a B level fighter. he can make for some good fights still as he is entertaining but he is probably best dropping down to 160, groves manhandled him too easily. although on the other hand imo the quality of fighter is better at 160 now. i cant believe the hype he got after beating that turk though, people saying he was the man to beat at 168 cause he beat a punchbag

When he uses that high workrate he looks like a really good fighter. Hopefully he can do it more consistently in future fights
