Hearn gave them a ridiculous deadline, so they gave him the identical deadline, word for word. It's part of the dance and ritual of a negotiation. Both sides know the deadline is nonsense. They continued discussing the 50 million offer for weeks after that. It was never taken off the table and is still on the table to this day.
