Anyone else feeling a bit burnt out from the ggg/canelo 2 buildup?

I just want fight happening already all this manufactured beef is killing my patience.

Sure there's animosity there any man with a brain can see that this isnt our first rodeo. We're human beings we notice legit needle between fighters.

Stop treating us as brainless consumers/casuals.

not really. what I am sick of though is the relentless talking up of fights that aren't signed and may never be.

To me it's a great fight that needs no build up and I never buy PFV fights anyway. I believe that they hate each other but that doesn't matter. They are pro boxers who would be trying to beat the hell out of each other just as hard if they were best friends. Oscar and Canelo do annoy me with their constant talk of knocking GGG out which seems unlikely. I watch the first minute of these build up shows and decide to watch it or skip it. If it shows the boxers in training and sparring and bag punching I watch it. If if shows the boxers or others talking about how much they dislike each other and how impressively they will win I skip it.

Enjoy this weekend of fights and then we have the fight the other weekend. Focus on other stuff you like in life. Work, etc.

I'm anticipating the fight but I think the overall buildup for this rematch has been really lack luster.

Every respected pound for pound best list has him top 4 or higher. Ring has him number 1 and ESPN, Boxrec, Boxing Scene and all the others have him 2nd 3rd or 4th. HBO didn't do that for him. He earned that with his fists by being the longest reigning champion in boxing today with by far the most successful title defenses. I am sure he is real enough to all the guys he knocked out. I doubt they think of him as just an HBO creation.

Great fight but just am not interested in the build up whatsoever.
