STFU. You're not forced to do anything in life.

Wow hitking, i didn't expect this from you. Wether you like him or not, Danny CLEARLY has the best resume of all active welterweights, besides Pacquiao. Thats a fact! If that makes danny a bum, then there's a dicision full of bums right now at 147

Danny's gotta be one of the most relaxed fighters I've seen in a while....kinda puts me in the mind of Mikey a bit. He does give off this vibe as though he doesn't care that much about boxing in regards to being the greatest ever.

People said he was so afraid of Matthysse, but he went out there and put on a show....all to be hated by most fans after his victory. Matthysse didn't do what people hyped him up to do, but Danny still gets the blame for that!?

        C'mon now.

If I were him, I wouldn't care about what the "fans" and/or the media feels either....they sway wherever the wind blows. Who needs validation from people like that?

If anything, we all need to cross our fingers and hope this Porter bout doesn't end on cuts and/or injuries.

If I was making millions I wouldn't care either, either lol but at the same time they decide who gets voted in and shows up to your fights so.... Whatever gives him the edge go for it!!

I'm not **** measuring Danny vs Shawn, or anyone else, resume-wise so idk why you are even bringing that up. I'm saying Angel & Danny are looking for the most money for the least risk. Like I said if I was in their shoes I'd be the same way, but lets not act like thats some sh^t fans wanna hear or will think highly of you for. In fact while I would likely take that approach in their shoes I wouldn't be ****y enough to brag about that outlook on boxing.

As to the Floyd sh^t here's a couple links to stories post-Lucas W on a Floyd PPV undercard that looked like a possible finals to fight Floyd type matchup.

            From Slick Richard's mouth:
"Danny had told us he had a dream to defend the title in Puerto Rico and this was an opportunity for us to give him that opportunity. And with Herrera being Mexican and the rivalry being what it is between Mexicans and Puerto Ricans, it made a lot of sense."

It made a lot of sense on a lot of levels. The big-money option would have been Mayweather, and had he told Schaefer he wanted it, Garcia might have emerged as the frontrunner and been Mayweather's choice."
            https://sports.yahoo.com/news/why-da...02-boxing.html

And here's the type of sh^t he was saying when he shoulda been saying "give me Mayweather":
"BoxingScene.com: How much do you want a fight with Floyd Mayweather?

Garcia: “I don’t really care about it. I’m trying to build my own legacy. If it happens, it happens. If it don’t, I’m just going to continue what I do and just keep winning.”

All boxers want too make money and some want to be the best, Danny just isn't one of them and it shows.
2 division champion with a laundry list of former champions doesn't want to be great. Sure. He fought Keith Thurman, and is taking on Porter to earn a rematch with him for no good reason. He's only a "paycheck player", like the other 100% of guys who list "get hit in the head repeatedly" as a job responsibility. I typically avoid using the term "hater," but man oh man are you one lol

I think Garcia behaves like Garcia because he's learned not to let anyone phase him. He has a championship mindset, and he's making big money with it, and fighting the guys he's supposed to, win or lose. If he were just a "paycheck player," he could have fought someone far less dangerous, and still made good money.

Danny even with cherry picking has had an above average career. They should had matched him up against Cotto or a top Mexican.

I think he's resume is better than retired Bradley as well. Not even hating. Besides Manny he does have the best resume in 147. Too bad he didn't beat keith.

And 1 year prior to Morales facing Danny, He lost a majority desicion to Maidana. All this happen 3 years before Maidana fought Floyd. Lucas may be overated now that he is older, but back then he was the boogeyman!
I stopped reading at “Maidana beat Floyd.”

I don’t have a problem with Danny. I flew to NYC to watch him fight Thurman. But his resume is what it is. Point out a non-fact in my post.
