They don't have it on youtube so I can't give you an exact run down now, I would have to watch it home from the cd I recorded it from. I'll catch up with you.Comment

Morales: no longer in his prime, but no one was saying hes "too old" when he had a war with maidana few months prior to the Garcia fight.
Khan: again, not the best chin in the world, but a world class fighter at that time. He's prolly has the third best resume behind Danny and pac. Btw, ask maidana if Khan's chin is weak.
Matthysse: was literally the boogeyman when Danny faced him. Had KO Peterson in 3 rounds in the previous fight. Extremely hard to do that to Peterson, especially during that time.
It's easy to say "old" or "overrated AFTERRRR Danny exposes them. Before Danny, they were all thought of much different.Comment

It’s actually not a legitimate debate. At least not to anyone that knows how to score a fight. How many rounds did Maidana lose between 1-6? The fight was what, 4-5yrs ago? I have no clue. I think I consistently scored it about 8-4/7-5 for Floyd when going back and watching replays. And that seemed to reflect the official scoring.Comment

"The 30-year-old Garcia has beaten a long list of former champions that includes Nate Campbell, Robert Guerrero, Kendall Holt, Zab Judah, Amir Khan, Paulie Malignaggi, Lucas Matthysse, Erik Morales, Lamont Peterson and Brandon Rios.....They never gave him credit."
I give him credit for Khan and Matthyse, all others were old, punch drunk past their prime. AND Lamont BEAT him. Lets not even talk about the robbery El Maestro was suffered.Last edited by mrlopez; 09-07-2018, 08:11 PM.Comment

"Danny Garcia: I'm Not Chasing Credit From Critical Fans, Media"
Captain F#cking Obvious wrote that article I assume.
The Garcia's have made it known they'll take max money for the easiest fight they can get. I still remember when Danny coulda been among the guys Floyd was handing big checks to a couple years back now & Danny seemed completely disinterested in that fight & iirc said directly he didn't want that fight. So yea no sh^t Danny has no interest in going big with boxing. Its work to him, not a chasing greatness thing.
And thats not even to dog him per se, thats just how he & his father seem to look at his boxing career which isn't an attitude that will endure him to many fans. It will make him some nice cash at the least risk possible in this game & if I was a professional boxer I might have the same outlook honestly cuz no one is gonna give a f#ck about you to help you out once you retire if things go south.Comment

If that happened I completely forgot about it somehow.
I'll be straight man. I don't keep up with all this talking bs very well. I don't take it as seriously as most cats here do. I like reading between the lines now & have a short memory with past bs cuz I think guys are always evolving for better or worse.
But f#ck thats hilarious if true.Comment

I don't know if Danny lacks passion for boxing or not, but he gives the appearance at times that he is a bit indifferent about it---more clinical and cerebral about it perhaps. I had in mind, the passion of Duran, Trinidad Ray Leonard, and many others, but your point is well taken.Comment
