I would prefer someone else, but I expect his next fight to be about this level. He wants to stay active which is great, but you'll get filler fights like these. Collazo has proven to be a damn good professional. Depending how much he has left, maybe he can make Spence think a little. But that may be wishful thinking. I expect Errol to get him out of there.
Luis Collazo may be Spence's next opponent.

I thought the Matthysse fight was acceptable and a decent one to make for current Pacquiao, but I didn't think it was that dangerous. What makes you say he doesn't wanna fight Spence or Thurman? As far as I'm aware those options have never been on the table for him like they are now.
I can understand the Bud part of your remark cuz Bob was trying to make that fight obviously & it sounds like Manny & his team were the problem with making that fight.
And honestly I felt Lucas WAS a threat to this current version of Manny. I thought that was a bad fight for him to take.
And Pacquiao for the past year has only mentioned fights like Broner or smaller guys in Mikey or Lomachenko. I'm glad today that he expressed interest in Garcia and Porter.
But Pacquiao vs Spence would be a great fight for Spence to take at this time. I hope it could be made.Comment

1. The only reason he would have fought at 154 (which to my knowledge, he hasn't) is because he was at 152 in the Olympics which is where welterweight is.1. Do better research.
2. Who's Vargas fighting?
3. What does it matter? He should go after the fight, make some noise. Take a flight over to the Philippines and speak with the man. Great press opportunity. Win/win.
He's not doing anything, just beating up bums and saying nobody wants to fight him. Time to move up like when you were fighting in the 69kg/152lb class in the ams (since 2008 lmao) at the weight limit. Time to stay moved up.
Second fight after moving up, Crawford is fighting Benevidez. Big height and reach advantage (6'2" vs 5'8"), undefeated, good skills, past beef history. That's an exciting fight.
Meanwhile, Spence is sniffing around the chicken coop looking for tender morsels.
:gay:
2. Vargas is fighting Thomas Dulorme on DAZN in October
3. Spence is a quiet guy and it's not really in his nature to do that. If that's what it takes to get a Pacquiao fight, then that's what he should do.
But Thurman is ducking him, Garcia is ducking him, Porter is ducking him, and Pacquiao isn't interested in him. So is he supposed to go to Florida, Philly, Vegas and the Philippines to follow all these guys around for a fight? Why can't they just step up and ask to fight the best guy in their weight class?Comment

Yea those call outs of the guys in divisions below him was weird & not hopeful I'll agree with you there.I thought the Matthysse fight was acceptable and a decent one to make for current Pacquiao, but I didn't think it was that dangerous.

Nor should he. It's funny how a lot of people (like Dunn's dumb ass) wants/expects Pacquiao to fight Crawford, Spence, Thurman, etc yet you have all these PBC prime guys who don't want to fight SpenceComment

Definitely pathetic if true. But, I'm willing to bet it started out with something like Collazo telling someone in the gym he thinks he could hang with Spence and by the time it reached the OP it turned into, "Spence's people contacted Collazo".Comment
