Floyd is just all around better fighter. Bud vs Pacquiao at 140 would be a much more competitive and interesting matchup.

floyd was overrated. he was getting hit flush with straight lefts and counter rights from corley. crawford would be too much for him. he has everything and from a southpaw stance. hes not a slow plodder like floyd lieks to fight or a strict counterpuncher which is his other favorite fight. he can fight going forward or backwards with a high iq and size advantage. this is a "avoid um while he's prime" typical floyd fight

Young Floyd 130 and 135 also fought orthodox and southpaw.

You COULD pick Bud for the same reason you are picking Floyd. Crawford hasn't shown us enough one way or another against top competition. Picking Floyd over Crawford or Crawford over Floyd is pure conjecture.
Watching Crawford against Spence would give me a lot more to go on. If Crawford defeated Spence handily, a real possibility, I'd give Crawford a good chance vs. Floyd.

but why? spence and floyd don't really fight alike at all. he could beat spence and still lose to floyd or lose to spence and still beat floyd.

Spence and Floyd have very different styles though. Floyd is a 10x better defensive fighter than Spence.
