So, what's your beef? I'm not defending Arum but compared to Haymon, he makes way better fights, with way less corrupt judges and referees. The A-side Lomachenko got screwed over on a Top Rank card, that never happens in Al Haymon fights.Comment

Here goes the haters talking crap on Bud Crawford. I don't see why hate on the man??
He's a great fighter, he has an exciting style, and he always comes to fight.
The only reason I can see they hate on him is cause he fights for Top Rank and not Al Haymon....
At the end who gives a fucc??
People are quick to blame Bob Arum for some of the best fights not being made but Bob has shown he's willing to work with any promoter to make the best fights.
Maybe All the fighters under PBC should leave Al Haymon and go fight under Top Rank ???
NOW I'M GONNA HEAR SOME CRAP FOR SAYING THAT.. 🤣
But on the real, IDK why some people even care who a fighter fights for..... ? They aren't getting any money for a fighter being under PBC.
And I don't even like that old punk motherfuccer Bob Arum!
Is it crazy? Yes. Is it really that surprising that it's come to this in boxing after how effectively they were brainwashed about race regarding the nation at large? No, it's not. One follows the other. They've been taught that the media and social structures at large in the country are run by white supremacists, so if you believe that, why wouldn't they also believe that the boxing media, and the power promoters in boxing like Arum, are also run by white supremacists? I mean, you can even find videos on youtube claiming that the reason HBO is not picking up Kovalev-Alvarez II is not because Kovalev is past his prime and HBO's boxing budget is dying, but rather because HBO was only in the Kovalev business in the first place because they wanted to push white supremacism by hyping a white fighter, but now that he lost to a black fighter, and they, the video posits, know that the black fighter will beat him again in the rematch, they have no interest in promoting the black fighter, Alvarez, and that's why they're not going to pay to air the rematch.
This isn't just one video, by the way. This **** is absolutely rampant within boxing social media. This is really the way many of these people think, so obviously, Floyd, Haymon, Showtime, etc are absolute heroes to these people because Haymon is the one who *****ed HBO over, Floyd is the one who left HBO, and Showtime in concert with Haymon and Floyd is HBO's direct competition. If HBO is white supremacist, and Showtime is HBO's rival, then Showtime must be anti-white supremacist, right? Showtime must be fighting the evil empire, right? That's how most members of this subculture among black boxing fans think.Comment

Why do people automatically blame Arum for not making fights when Haymon does just as many, if not more in house fights then Bob does? Is it a racial thing or what?Comment

LOL yea see wtf. Boxers are so bad at this business sh^t its damn shame.
MMA guys, often with a college education if not 4yr degrees in many more cases than boxers, have been getting much better with that lately. Lotsa guys fight til free agents in the UFC right now. Its a gamble for sure, but it can pay off too.
I wish college boxing was more of a thing. Probably be much smarter boxers out there & with more options if the boxing thing doesn't work out.Comment

No one is dissing Crawford's ability to fight; folks are simply stating that we've all seen this story before and we know how it ends. Bob Arum will never willingly be part of an event where he's the B-side promoter on a fight, and that's basically the case with every major welterweight fight that can be made right now.
Crawford is going to fight Jose Benevidez, likely fight whatever welterweight Frank Warren has, look at fighting some no-name no hoper, and then will likely fight Jose Ramirez (so that Ramirez can avoid Regis Prograis), which will magically become a trilogy. By then, Arum will hope against hope that one of his other guys is ready to fight.
He's going to be Tim Bradley, a good fighter who fought whomever was put in front of him, and never said **** because the guaranteed money was more than what Bradley could draw on his own name.Comment

Are you an idiot? The main issue here is ALL THE GOOD WELTERWEIGHTS ARE ON THE PBC SIDE. They can all fight each other and have some great matchups. Who the **** is Bud going to fight? Benavidez in a trilogy?Comment
