Welp lol Explain how this makes any sense? His deal wasn't close to being done.

All he does is bark about being a top dawg imho. All that talking with a career full of marginal comp lol Dude is 31 already. He's complicit at this point.

The only reason I can see they hate on him is cause he fights for Top Rank and not Al Haymon....
At the end who gives a fucc??
People are quick to blame Bob Arum for some of the best fights not being made but Bob has shown he's willing to work with any promoter to make the best fights.
Maybe All the fighters under PBC should leave Al Haymon and go fight under Top Rank ???
NOW I'M GONNA HEAR SOME CRAP FOR SAYING THAT.. 🤣
But on the real, IDK why some people even care who a fighter fights for..... ? They aren't getting any money for a fighter being under PBC.
And I don't even like that old punk motherfuccer Bob Arum!
No one is dissing Crawford's ability to fight; folks are simply stating that we've all seen this story before and we know how it ends. Bob Arum will never willingly be part of an event where he's the B-side promoter on a fight, and that's basically the case with every major welterweight fight that can be made right now.

Crawford is going to fight Jose Benevidez, likely fight whatever welterweight Frank Warren has, look at fighting some no-name no hoper, and then will likely fight Jose Ramirez (so that Ramirez can avoid Regis Prograis), which will magically become a trilogy. By then, Arum will hope against hope that one of his other guys is ready to fight.

He's going to be Tim Bradley, a good fighter who fought whomever was put in front of him, and never said **** because the guaranteed money was more than what Bradley could draw on his own name.

There's nothing more to say about all of this. You captured it perfectly here.

I remember back in the day when Top Rank had 3 fighters and they fought each other 3-4 times+. Bradley, Marquez and Pacquiao.

Crawford will look really bad if he doesn’t fight Spence, Pacquiao, Thurman, Garcia or Porter by the end of 2019. He needs to fight at least one of them next year. It’s going to be difficult to make these fights happen now though.

I'm critical of Arum myself, but I think you gotta be reasonable in your criticism to. Cuz I mean which promoter is letting there big name guy be promoted by the opposing promoter?

I can't think of that happening unless its a HUGE fight really off the top of my head. And Arum did allow that with Floyd vs Manny cuz it was a HUGE fight. So til Bud vs Spence is HUGE Arum won't be letting him be promoted by some other promoter on some other platform, but who thinks Haymon is gonna let some non-PBC promoter fight Spence on some non-PBC platform for the most obvious example of a fight we won't be seeing anytime soon cuz of all this promoter bs?

Fans are more fans/haters of promoters than fighters these days.

Crawford is earning well, probably got a raise and Top Rank helped him reach his objectives of cleaning out two divisions so far and being in the pound for pound discussion.

When he signed with Top Rank in 2011, this is the order of fights he had:

                      Joel Casamayor
                      Pacquiao
                      Provodnikov
                      Marquez
                      Pacquiao
                      Diego Chavez
Jessie Vargas (who was undefeated at the time)
                      Brandon Rios
                      Pacquiao

No ****, who wouldn't fight Pacquiao 3x in a row, plus Marquez?
