WBC seems to be all over the place with this. On one hand they will be awarding a parent son corner with a special belt, but on the other they're trying to abolish it?

We should implement a similar rule that a parent/son cannot be president over any boxing sanctioning organizations.
Oh, wait. WBC, el-oh-elComment

Thats not true. Or if it is true for most fathers there are still many fathers who keep their son in the fight for far too long cuz the stats on ring deaths are littered with a disturbingly high % of father trainers.
Could just be that there are A LOT of father trainers idk. If 50% of trainers are fathers & 50% of ring deaths are father/son situations then it makes sense. If 23% of trainers are fathers & 50% of ring deaths are father/son situations there is something there. The stats are so incomplete who really knows how many fathers are training their sons is the thing or all the details on who cornered a guy on the night of the tragedy aren't researched. Assuming WBC guy has done some looking into it doe, but I'd like to hear some hard numbers over a half a decade or longer sample size.Comment

Does anyone know if the WBC is taking any money from trainers to award these trainer belts?
Obviously they are taking a % of boxers money which in turn trickles down to the trainers hence you could argue they are taking a cut already from trainers, but wondering if trainers are being asked for something they previously weren't giving to be awarded these corny ass belts.
I'd assume they are, but have heard nothing concrete about it.Comment

Also make a rule that in every WBC fight a special belt must be awarded, and both fighters must pay the special belt fee, win or lose.
Competition for the most irritating person in boxing is enormous, but Sulaiman's got to be at least the interim champion.Comment
