I feel sorry for Margarito fans cause in my eyes he's stuck between a rock & a hard place, PBF would beat him, & Winky would beat him easier. Mayweather is being a smart fighter and looking for big money fights, I have no doubt he'd fight Margarito if it was in Nov, then go after DLH. In my eyes this is just BS from guy who have not intent to fight Floyd, Wrights way to big, & Margarito want's to fight in Oct, he should wait a fu$%in' month then fight and I'm sure that He'd take it. I have to agree with the fact that Mayweather hasn't proven himself in the WW division, but he has proven himself as a big name in boxing & someone that can call his own shots, more then Margarito has.

DOMINATE multiple weight class?Did PBF ever accomplish that?
Sure PBF fought and stayed undefeated fighting in different weight classes capturing titles along the way but he never did DOMINATED one specific weight class. Why? Because he keeps moving up by passing a lot of good fighters in those divisions. PBF didn't unify belts or title in any division so how can you say he dominated? If he fought all the deserving challengers and unify the titles that's what you call
"DOMINATION". As in what Bhops and Hagler did.
And this is exactly what PBF is trying to do again at present. He went up to 147 and capture a title and since Margarito has long been a title holder in this division before he came into the picture there's no way anybody can say he doesn't deserve to fight PBF. There's no justification what so ever EXCEPT that PBF is ducking him.
Margarito may not have the skills to fight in different weight classes but there's no denying that he is a force to be reckoned with at 147 weight class which PBF invaded. And to say Marg doesn't deserve to fight PBF is just ******. When you go inside somebody elses turf and capture a title and another belt holder called you out, you just can't say NO otherwise you're a ****i'n paper champ.
Winky weights the same? Nopes Winky is now at 160 and Marg is still at 147, is that the same to you?Anyway it looks like these 2 will fight at 154 so it's no longer an issue.

Gotta agree here. Floyd did dominate the 130/135 divisions. Even at 140, he beat a champion and "the" champion (Hatton) did not want to fight him so his only real career option was to move to 147. At 147, he is not the champ...yet.Comment

In a recent interview with Franklin McNeil of The Star-Ledger, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. adviser Leonard Ellerbe, fired back at the camp of WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito, by saying that there is no way that Floyd is ducking the power-puncher from Mexico. [details]Comment

Ellerbe is wrong. I can't imagine that Margarito would be easy work for anyone. I don't care how much you dominate them, Margarito has the strongest chin I have seen since Erik Morales, throws the most punches out of anyone in the sport, and never stops coming forward. Even if Floyd won a 120-108, 120-108, 120-108 decision over Margarito, I can't imagine that he wouldn't consider it one of the hardest bouts of his career.Comment
