The best 154 pound boxers would easily beat him in my opinion. He isn't the best welterweight and hasn't exactly cleaned out 147. The only really good welterweight he fought beat him. He doesn't need to go to 154 to get his ass kicked. Crawford and Spence can do that for him. He may not beat Porter. Maybe he plans on getting an easy guy to beat to win more gold at 154 the way he got his 147 pound title by beating a weak fighter for a vacant title.

Tyson got figured out, Paul was draining himself at 147, porter did that before the pros, Floyd only did it for 2 fights, khan is not small for 147 & Oscar was not a middleweight & lost both fights there (sturm, B-Hop).

Tyson won the Lineal title, Paul won a title, Floyd is undefeated, Oscar was competitive in both of those fights. So idk where I told a lie. Two sides of the same story. Danny can be successful at 154 with the right Opportunity.

Danny isnt too small for 154, he’s big as f uck. The problem is that some of the 154 guys are as big as Danny was at 140. He’d be fair sized against more than a few..not too much smaller than Charlo if he moved up the right way...but Munguia and Hurd? I’m amazed those guys make weight and fight at such a pace. It’s impressive.
