He produced several 90s tv shows that became syndicated. I think NY Undercover was one of those properties. He has a long history in the TV business.

Showtime and FOX have the same distributor. Fox doesn't have a set amount per WSJ "Typically, rights fees are determined on a per-fight basis, according to people familiar with the matter" this would be the perfect set up for a bid between the two. just my two cents.

Why would they bid on their own fights. They are one and the same. Like the NFL has games on Fox, CBS, NBC and ESPN. They don't have to bid they're together.
