if Trout & Lara are yardsticks then I believe he can give Canelo a good run for his money.

Bearing in mind when he fought Trout and Lara. Canelo has very good body movement and has enough power to punish Hurd. I just think Hurd is too easy to hit and Canelo is explosive enough to punish him.

Maybe he could be Saunders, Andrade and Charlo but I still dont see it.

"Right now, I’m trying to become the undisputed champion at 154 pounds by somewhere in the summer of 2019. If I’m not undisputed by then, I think it’ll be time to move up to 160," Hurd said.

Sounds like he doesn't want to fight Jermell since 2 fights ago….

The powers at be will not risk either guy loosing before Hurd moves up to 160! I don't see what's the problem when both guys are under the same banner but that's nothing new?
Nice try but it don't work....Jermell been called out Hurd after Hurd beat Trout. Hurd picked Lara.

So as a fan tell your boy lil g to man up & fight Jermall. I know Nelo will beat lil g but Jermall vs lil g can STILL be made. You know Jermall called lil g out too so no need for lil g to go any other route!

Jacobs is a big puncher at 160.
                  You mean WON'T, right?

Honestly, I really like Jacobs as a person and a fighter. But he is the only fighter today where I wil record his fights because every fight, he can potentially be knocked out and I don’t want to see that. I still don’t trust his chin at all. I felt the same way about Roy Jones towards the end of his career. I liked Roy as a fighter and couldn’t really watch his fights after he got put to sleep by Tarver. Didn’t want to see Roy get knocked out again. I remember I taped the Glen Johnson fight only to learn later what happened to Roy. I probably won’t watch the upcoming Jacobs fight either.
