I expect it to be a very good fight tbh. Povetkin is both somewhat forgotten and underrated, he's a disciplined and fundamentally sound fighter, and veteran of the pro ranks. I consider him the 5th best HW behind Wlad, Fury, AJ, and Wilder, who just barely makes my list with the Ortiz win. That list isnt in order btw.
I think AJ is the weakest link of the top 3 names and he may well be further exposed against Povetkin.Comment

He KO’d everyone he fought up until Parker. Some of the performances were very good, but against limited opposition. He smashed Molina, stopped Johnson early, beat up Whyte, Breazeale and Martin... can’t argue too much with any of those performances. He was dominant in all of them.
Wlad fight was a ropey performance, but a great fight for the fans. It might not have been peak Wlad, but he was motivated and in shape, and experience counts for an awful lot. I think getting off the canvas could be a huge plus for Joshua too.
Takam was the first poor performance - Joshua struggled to adjust to the late change of opponent, which could point to a lack of boxing IQ. He still won pretty much every round, but the poor stoppage overshadowed the fight.
Parker was an odd one, Joshua got a lot of help from the ref, and seemed reluctant to exchange. Made me wonder if the Wlad fight had made him rethink his style.Comment

Joshua looked good against Charles Martin.
If Martin puts up a poor performance in his upcoming fight
then even the Martin Victory wont look that great for AJ's
resume.Comment

You don't need to say any good thing about him, it's unnecessary.I want this fight to pick up steam, but everyone knows that if Joshua the trinket belt holder of false titles picked Headvetkin, then that means they think that Headvetkin is washed. I hope it's a good fight, I really do. Joshua is such a ****en coward to me that I can't find anything good to say about him anymore. I really can't.
It doesn't stop him from being the unified champ that he is so whatever you think is irrelevant.
Go watch ggg/canelo.Comment

Brits always point to Joshua's previous earnings when
defending him for not taking the Wilder fight, but Joshua's
bank only proves that Brits are willing to vastly overpay
their homegrown talent in comparison to the rest of the
world. It has created a situation where Joshua's team feels
completely justified in being unreasonable to negotiate with.
British fans must be blinded by the shadow of Joshua's ego,
because they are the only ones who do not see what's what.Comment
