I don't know, I feel like Broner is pretty well hated by most fans.

          MOST HATED

          1. Ali was hated for speaking out about American inequality and not going to Vietnam as did Trump but for some strange reason the guy claiming bone spurs is loved. Maybe it has something to do with race.

          2. Jack Johnson was hated for marrying a white woman in a time when America was more segregated than what it is today. Maybe it had something to do with race.

          3. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is hated because he massed huge amounts of money by simply just trolling his opponents with ease and some think it's unfair that he is never willing to risk his chin in an all out brawl. Or maybe it has something to do with race.

            Specious reasoning....

Ali,Johnson and others were hated but there was no internet..imagine the threads that would have been made about them

That is certainly a valid point Larry.

But to the best of my recollection Ali and Johnson never pulled
a move like the whole not fighting Manny/PEDS issue.

I would say the true hatred of Mayweather started at that point.

The Castillo thing obviously didn't help his case either.......

I reserve the top spot for Tony Ayala.

this is a country with a vicious racial history. i'd urge you to look back at the history of this sport, particularly the HW championship, and to go back before world war 2.

or look at the career of muhammad ali. ali was not always a universally beloved figure. really, you can look it up for yourself, the man was vilified.
Ali's unlikely friendship with Howard Cosell is probably the reason why he is remembered fondly now.
