He's young and marketable, that's why he's being hyped. He's a good fighter tho but everything is a learning process, he's only 20 years old.

He's just too hyped because he's a good looking guy and marketable.

He's still young and really isn't a bad fighter. He still has potential. They need to slow it down with the hype and make him learn his craft. There's no rush, he's only 20.

I doubt he'll turn out to be anything special but i wouldn't write him off because of a couple of average performances. some great fighters even lost or drew with journeymen on the way up.

True true. It just he only came to my attention when I heard from his own mouth that he schooled Loma and was giving tips on how to beat him so I was excited to see him. What an anti climax. He is Amir Khan but not as good in my opinion. He talked like he wanted to face Tank. If I was judge him on his ability and opponents he has faced I would say he is moving along swimmingly but if I was to judge him but what he says about himself he is delusional

I think Golden Boy need to slow it with the hype and hopefully Garcia has had a bit of an awakening and see's that he has a lot to learn.

I admire the confidence he has but there's a line where it becomes deluded and people then are going to jump all over him when he doesn't look great.

He should stay quiet for a bit, get in the gym and learn and do his talking in the ring for now. He can do all his talking later when he's shown something in the ring. He's still going to be marketable further down the road anyway, that part won't go away.They can capitalise on that later, especially if he's proving something in the ring.

Even though Garcia is being hyped nobody is saying he's one of the best boxers in the world at the moment. One fight early in his career where he struggles doesn't mean he can't reach the top in the future.
