to your other point of hurting him with a clean punch. that happened over a minute before the fight was stopped and kovalev was actually recovering and getting better as time passed but anyway my main point is if you hurt your opponent you are allowed to break the rules to get him out of there? since when? could he have finished kovalev off with a series of headbutts? maybe borerline headbutts to you?
We all saw Kovalev stopped, weather you think the shots
were low or not, and Kovalev has only continued to show
his fragility since then. You're crying over spilled milk that
has already dried-up long ago. Just accept the fact that
Kovalev was not the man you thought he was.
It's the same story with Golovkin's fans not being able to
accept that Golovkin did not win against Canelo.

Exactly, I actually thought Jacobs moved more than Canelo did, especially after he got dropped against GGG.

The punches were perfect, and devastating.
So devastating that Kovalev's fans are still in pain!
That makes the stoppage all the more satisfying.

            He missed but threw more.

Canelo landed only 4 more power punches. GGG landed 50 more jabs.

Missing is not problem when you throw more. It is better than running and not throwing punches.

They were among the most glorious body shots ever witnessed.
Seeing Kovalev hunched over, walking like the elderly man with
spinal problems who greets you at Walmart, that was great.

Jacobs is just covering up his own average performance against ggg. I do believe Jacobs is overrated and he's got no business trying to be a judge.
