I believe GGG won that first fight
But I was OK with the draw just not that one score card that was far from how the fight went
Canelo definitely had better head movement and was faster on counters but he was throwing whatever he had at GGG and landing a lot of them clean while GGG was walking right through them and asking for more. I don’t think that there is any sure fire way to fight a fighter that isn’t affected by power punches. GGG started to land his punches and started to slow down Canelo And also seemed to stun him at points.
Because of that Canelo started to gas out at points that were pretty obvious during the fight.
I believe GGG will have this fight in the bag With starting the fight off more physical this time instead of waiting a few rounds and especially if Canelo delivers on the promise he made to make this a more physical fight but that is just my opinion and all it takes is one good shot to change the direction of a fight.

that is exactly what I said, the better fighter will make the better adjustments

Canelo will be a little bit sharper with a more-tailored gameplan... which will render Golovkin a little bit more ineffective

Canelo shows improvement every single fight

Golovkin looks to have regressed since stepping up in class

He just need to stop telegraph his right hand FFS, that's embarassing, they should get him Ariza and proper dynamic training.

YEARS ago, watching from ringside..... Tim Bradley said he could not believe how slow Golovkin was

and not sure if you are right about Golovkin being this thinking fighter who switches it up..... of the two, that describes Canelo

I think Golovkin will have to improve significantly if he wants to keep his titles

In the first fight, Alvarez surprised Golovkin with his tactics. It took Golovkin a few rounds to adjust.
Alvarez had never fought that type of fight before. If he repeats those tactics for this fight, Golovkin should be prepared. If Alvarez chooses to be more offensive minded, that's Golovkin's game, no adjustment necessary.
It's true that a fighter can get old in the ring overnight and at 36, time is not on GGG's side. The smart money will be on Canelo, as the younger, quicker fighter in his prime. Hopefully the fight lives up to it's hype.

I think Canelo wins but it will be veeeery close fight. Will be similar to the first fight. But there is one big IF. Canelo wins only if his stamina is alright.

I think GGG will also do some adjustments. In the first fight noticed that GGG tried to catch Canelo while Canelo counters. That's why Canelo couldn't throw enough punches. Of course there was also stamina problems.

GGG's box never based on the speed. He is naturally slow. So, he will try to use timing to beat speed of Canelo.

Most people didn't give Canelo those 3 rounds.

The 12 round is not where you adjust.

                  EVERY judge did

of the 9 possible points, Canelo scored 9

and no point in blaming ALL three judges lol

                      the judges scored for defense.....

and yet it is clearly obvious from the subsequent fan reactions/comments..... that many fans actually had no idea that defence is valid scoring criteria..... and they actually thought that simply moving forward - despite missing wildly - is valid scoring criteria

hence the " but he made the fight / pressed the action " comments

so did Lemieux with Saunders lol
