GGG is painted as that MW version of Arturo Gatti and I strongly disagree, GGG lacks streching and speed, lacks reflexes compared to Canelo, but I think he's as intelligent as Canelo as a fighter, if not more.

GGG is supposed to be the old man and the dumb fighter who can't adjust but for some reason, GGG is the man who won the second half of the fight IMO

GGG doesn't have the same experience as Canelo as a pro, and i think he can perfect a lot of things, will they work on it with Abel is another story, will see.
Good post, whenever a fighter carries good power and comes forward they are usually stereotyped into being some sort of crude caveman on here .

Just my two cents, ggg can definitely go to the body specially early and often. He can be more aggresive if canelo goes to the ropes, and probably the best thing he can do in order to have the highest chance of winning is to fight off his jab and keep turning to his right. Because canelo often would escape his attacks to ggg's right so if ggg can negate that by working his punches and keep turning to his right, then that will force canelo to either punch back or have to re adjust and escape to the other side.

GGG didn't go to the body for a reason, GGG is slower than Canelo + Canelo is a counterpuncher and body punches are punches that expose you the most in boxing (short range + hands very low).

If GGG wants to body punch, he will have to set it up, and play a bit dirty, clinch in order to not let Canelo fireback.
A bunch of smart headbutt while bending low would be fine, that ginger PED user deserve it.

Basically he has to take a page from Ward's Kova book.

GGG best quality is his intelligence bar none.

He's slow by now and that's what saved him versus Jacobs and Nelo, he made the right adjustments, especially with his guard and feet position.

He just need to stop telegraph his right hand FFS, that's embarassing, they should get him Ariza and proper dynamic training.

Unless the Ginger fraud is on a undetectable designer juice from Memo - he ain’t going nowhere. How will he adjust besides running or gas faster ?
Lesser output less popp less stamina more defense - GGG should take this gift and punish the Ginger Fraud for disrespecting the sport of boxing and not having mexican style.

I agree that Golovkin musceling Canelo around on the inside will wear Canelo down. Headbutting, well that's out...

You mean to say the middle rounds, I gave canelo 10, 11, and specially 12, where everybody said Canelo can adjust, and beat GGG convincedly. I did not see GGG do much on those last 3 round but apply ineffective pressure.
