:I think that Canelo is going to be a little bit sharper and faster and a little bit more responsible on defense. :

How much more responsible can Canelo be on defense? He was defending so much people were accusing him of running.

I kid, I kid. I actually agree with Porter. I think Canelo is a pretty dynamic fighter with good trainers who can make adjustments. The only thing he was lacking in the first Golovkin fight was surefire confidence. Now he has gone 12 without getting dropped or seriously hurt, so he has that too. I think he is better equipped to make the adjustments and get the win, by TRUSTING his defense/ chin more, allowing him to set up more offense to win rounds, and maybe even sting GGG a couple times.

This is a little off topic but I can’t remember being this excited for an upcoming month of boxing. Starting on September 8th, we got Khan vs Vargas. We also have Porter vs Garcia that weekend. A great competitive fight. The following week, we got Canelo vs GGG. Fireworks guaranteed. Then the week after that, we have Joshua vs Povetkin. Another competitive, interesting fight. The following week we have Jorge Linares vs Abner Cotto and Victor Ortiz vs John Molina who can crack.

September-great month for boxing fans; can’t wait!!!!

Beside Byrd scorecard, i was okay with the draw. GGG was the aggressor but canelo landed the harder shots. I agree with porter in once you take someone's power, it wont surprise you in the rematch. Being that's GGG greatest attribute, canelo should win, and possibly KO GGG in the rematch.

You guys are all delusional. Connello ain't knocking out GGG. The G man has never been hurt or knocked down his whole career. In the first fight GGG was walking through Connellos power punches. There is a reason Conello kept on retreating to the ropes because he knows he will get caught in the middle of the ring. Fighting off his back foot trying to steal rounds fighting in spurts. That's exactly the same style he's going to fight again because the stamina will wear off even quicker with out the clen.

I agree with most people picking Canelo about Canelo adjusting and preparing better this second fight BUT I don't know why they assume GGG fought the perfect fight in the first opus and can't adjust his strategy and skills for the rematch too.

GGG is painted as that MW version of Arturo Gatti and I strongly disagree, GGG lacks streching and speed, lacks reflexes compared to Canelo, but I think he's as intelligent as Canelo as a fighter, if not more.

GGG is supposed to be the old man and the dumb fighter who can't adjust but for some reason, GGG is the man who won the second half of the fight IMO

GGG doesn't have the same experience as Canelo as a pro, and i think he can perfect a lot of things, will they work on it with Abel is another story, will see.

I dont think canelo needs tk make any adjustments. If anything, just throw more punches, be more active is the only thing to add. He fought a great fight in the first fight.

Porter could be right, his view seems to be popular that canelo is going to improve and win, i just dont see it happening, i think golovkin should win the fight but i would never bet against canelo because i dont trust boxing officials, at all
