i think this would be a fun fight to watch, calzone would make hopkins fight. calzone wins though he is an excellent fighter.

If calzaghe's hands hold up i would put him down as the winner.

But it would be close, no lopsided UD for Calzaghe this time.

close fight either way. hopkins defense is disgusting...he'd make joe look very ordinary. joe has a high workrate and more moves in there than he gets credit for.

Without a doubt, Calzaghe would dominate him and take him out. Hopkins just not in that class.

without a doubt, hopkins will always be remembered as two classes above calzaghe

thats true, if judges would give taylor two fights over hopkins because of his workrate imagine how they would score it for calzone. calzaghe is a thousand times better than jermaine taylor and he is always bringing the fight. i think this would be a rough night for b-hop.

                I'm a huge Hopkins fan.

I love the fact that he isn't particularly fast, isn't particularly powerful, isn't particularly athletic, isn't particularly naturally talented, but has just works harder than everybody else and had way more smarts than all his opponents. Excellent fighter, and definately no shame to of lost to a special fighter like Calzaghe.

                  Among black American's, maybe.

But in the real world, everybody knows he isn't near Calzaghe's class

I'm the biggest Hopkins fan on this board, he's tough and determined and VERY smart and worked his balls off. But even I admit that he's never beaten any decent middleweight, and certainly not in the bracket of a Calzaghe!
