That’s a shame. Fair enough they lose faith in Kovalev but you think they’d try to back Alvarez and see if he can build more of an audience.
Just further proof to show boxing is a business and not a typical sport, even if you are top 10 fighter in your weight class, if you aren’t hot, you get dropped.
Hope Kovalev still exercises his rematch clause, would love to see him avenge the loss then see if another network brings him over.

HBO should just throw in the towel completely. Would make sense for Hearn to bid big and try to get a bit of a hegemony at 175 as well as attempting to work with all of Main Events fighters on DAZN. This might be his window to gain some relevancy
