Ok, so Jimmy Barry is the record holder. He was unbeaten in 70 fights and retired as the lineal bantamweight champion in the 8 divisions, 1 belt era. Menayothin has a ways to go to beat the record.

So you lose points for not playing it safe? Lol get the **** of here with that. It's a meaningless record, leave it at that.

What, Menayothin retire after this fight? Some posters only care because he passed Floyd, lmao. Many probably haven't even seen him fight lmao. Did he go up in weight? Did he ever unify? Who are the tough guys that he's beaten if he stayed at his weight his whole career.

I offer my congratulations but a few of you have insincere ulterior motives posting his record, lmao. I'm sorry that I feel this way but he won't ever be called the g.o.a.t.

Good for him. To bad none of us were alive to watch him in his prime to judge the talent pool of the time period.

I think everybody loses points for playing it safe. One reason why Chavez ain't **** to me and there's plenty of Joe Calzaghe haters. So idk where you are going with this. Unless you are saying Mayweather was playing it safe and never took a major challenge in his entire career. Now I know you are not saying that. Atleast I hope not.

even counting lineal titles floyds record is extremley better.

never fought guys when they were at their best/prime . that has always been a critique also the mcgergor fight was against somone who was not a pro boxer that puts an asterisk on the record.
