Yes he did, but its not canelo making statements like "I don't fight for money, I fight for belts, legacy, I'm no businessman" all to justify not moving from 160. Its gennady not canelo saying those things

Just because Alvarez made business decisions or focused on money over belts or glory before doesn't disqualify him from calling GGG out on doing it. Anyone who focuses on the person saying it and not the facts supporting what was said, is just looking for a reason to ignore what's right in their face.

GGG is fighting a voluntary fight against a guy he proclaims to be a liar and a drug cheat. Why? The massive check that comes along with fighting that liar and drug cheat.

It's a mandatory. Golovkin loses his belt if he doesn't fight Canelo. That said it'd be disingenuous to try to claim that Golovkin doesn't care about the money. Of course he does. Whether he cares about it more that Canelo or other fighters is beyond my knowledge.

At this point GGG has more "What If" good fights than actual fights. Everyone I was looking forward to got delayed, canceled over money, or canceled over some "Extra Stipulations" to favor ggg. I still to this day wonder why Saunders just doesnt tell him to *** off after the sht they pulled on him the 1st time... Life changing money that was Lemuix money. $6,000,000 my ass.

haha ah come on lad, these facts that i am talking about are failed drugs tests and clear favouritism from judges throughout his career which i wont start ranting about the dark world of boxing and how these things come to be. canelo is an amazing fighter yes but everything else about him leaves a lot to be desired. GGG the perfect fighter? what in the world are u talking about hes not even close to being the perfect fighter but hes good at what he does and is a clearly more likeable person than canelo. im not a major fan of either i just despise cheaters in competitive sports. Opinions are opinion but facts are facts and all the facts show canelo and his team cheating and manipulating there was all the way through this drama show

Again, you choose to ignore the facts about GGG that are presented and minimize other's opinions as just being an "angry Canelo fan" or a hater. Its possible to point out facts about both and conclude that both ain as good as their reputations.
