The reason Golovkin's team is talking so much, is because Canelo ran the first fight, got a gift draw and then he got caught doing steroids. Those are facts. Was he willing though? Seems to me he didn't. They didn't beg GGG back. They were right there negotiating until the deal got done. It's also hard to say that GGG wasn't focused on the money since he dropped the IBF belt for the Alvarez fight.

exactly..hes just trying to evade the obvious talking points which clearly shine a negative light upon his ass. and all the canelo fans lapping it and referencing anything that fits their agenda. GGG is a clean, fairly humble fighter whereas canelo is a self obsorbed, cheating rat. If he held himself accountible in any way he would gain respect but that surely aint going to happen as hes taking a long swim in the nile
