He got popped for a weight loss drug. The fact tgat he's smaller this time actually helps his argument. Shows he didn't need it.

It's a drug that helps you maintain strength and muscle while losing weight, so you'd expect him to look smaller without it because he wouldn't be able to keep as much upper body muscle while taking the weight off.

There's also the way that a lot of people use steroids to bulk up which causes muscle and strength gains but also some fat, then post-cycle use clenbuterol to take the fat off while maintaining the benefits of the steroid. Canelo wasn't tested early enough last time for us to know if that's what happened, but was tested early enough this time that he wouldn't have had an opportunity.

Exactly my point thank you for pointing it out. Only ******s would think he used it to lose weight only or as I’ve read others say it’s for asthma and he doesn’t have it so there is no need for him to use it

                  Here is the 2017 Canelo

                  Jules Supervielle

Here is one of only a few pics of him in 2018.

Looks noticeably smaller up top in the shoulders and traps but hard to tell without similar shirtless pics of him to compare.. guess we will have to wait and see on fight night.
The top pic looks like the Hulk, while the lower pic looks like Bruce Banner.

Yeah, who would have thought that a forum full of boxers, and people who work out would have knowledge of one of the most popular banned substances of the last 15 years?

Canelo looks dramatically smaller to me, and somewhat softer and slower as well.

I'm sure he will weigh-in within a pound or so of the his weight last year, but that is not the issue at hand; the issue is what will his body weight and body composition be when he steps into the ring on fight night, and how will it compare to last year?

If--for example--the Canelo of 2017 entered the ring at 177lbs with 6% bodyfat, and the Canelo of 2018 enters the ring at 168lbs with 10% bodyfat, that would mean that last year Canelo carried over 15lbs more muscle mass into the ring than this year (166.38lbs vs. 151.2lbs).

That would change the dynamics of the fight...significantly.

This is the elephant in the ring.
