At the end of the day he got an undeserved draw because of a crooked judge. At the end of the day he should have lost the fight by at least 4 rounds.

And Tyson said every fighter has fear because of the inherent danger of being in boxing but they aren’t necessarily afraid of each other. Once the fight starts, that goes out the window. But that Spinks fight, he did look like a deer in headlights & like he just got out the sauna-LOL!

But the face to face is over rated anyway. I’ve seen fighters look less imposing at the weigh in and look away before the opening bell and then go on to dominate the fight. I’ve seen fighters look ultra tough at the face to face and then get knocked out-LOL!


Honestly, Canelo doesn’t need to do a face to face, it won’t change anything about his preparations. Those stare downs are to get the fans hype to want to see the fight more and more fans to buy the PPV.

no i just hate to see cheaters being rewarded or their blatant cheating being swept under the carpet with lame excuses. Its hard for anyone who loves competition to have any sort of respect for the man. and yes the build up and hype has always been a big part of boxing, without it there would be no Muhammed Ali as we know him, or Floyd wouldnt be the biggest earning sports star in the world.

There's really no point to it.. No point having two grown men standing face to face, smelling each other's breath.
The fight is signed, so both men will get into the ring with each other on September 15th to settle the score between them. So no point standing face to face and looking each other in the eye.

It's traditional for two fighters to try to look deep into each others soul.
