No doubt. Having two division champion Pedraza on his record ain't bad for Loma. Adds to the list of champions he's fought at least. Gets that Arum belt in his hands as well.

      • Even Pedraza has better stamina than 33-35 year old Kovalev.

        • I was a Big fan of Pedraza as he was coming up because he had so much skill and so many tools to his game. He fell off for a bit but it looks like he is back on his game.

The only amateur to give Loma problems at least early in his amateur career was a super lanky southpaw who basically outreached Loma and scored points with educated long punches, despite being much slower than Loma.

Pedraza is just as rangy as that guy, except even faster. Probably naturally bigger than Loma in general by a good bit. So, could be interesting. We could be seeing a few of those "Loma exposed!" posts the first 3-4 rounds before Lomachenko beats Pedraza down to the body.

top rank usually doesnt have political decisions actually, look at salido loma for example

but i looked at the judges and 1 is from arizona and 1 is robert hoyle who scored murata ndam for ndam which is a horrific scorecard
Yeah why is that? How come every Haymon fight has biased judges, even ones for his average prospects, but Top Rank's cards don't, not even to protect their biggest future star's records like Loma? Very weird.

That's because Crawford has no best wins, just about 10 B and C-level guys in a row most of whom are hard to distinguish from each other.

FYI, Beltran is only 1 year older than GGG, 2 years older than Kovalev. And unlike them, I dont think he VADA tests. I'd say a 37 year old without testing is much more prime than 35-36 with testing.

Tats how its supposed to work if youre not the best at your weight, but modern boxing has perverted it and made everyone forget.

                  • Read earlier that Beltran wanted to meet with Trump to show him how hard Mexicans work. Trump just tweeted, I rather meet with the Puerto Rican, Jose Pedraza, they seem to work harder.
