I get what you’re saying but if there is proper hype around a fight and it is well promoted it becomes interesting. The issue with boxing now is Eddie Hearn love him or hate him seems like the only actual promoter who promotes.

Tbh, I remember living near this dude called Mukesh when I was a kid. Him and his Dad would have public arguments in the street for months - screaming all sorts. And I’d know one day one of them is gonna smack the other.

Then one day, finally, they went at it. You best believe I ran out my house to witness their epic tussle. Didn’t even have shoes on, I think I was in my pants, ffs.

I did step in to be fair to my 15 year old self when it became apparent young Mukesh was on top.

But essentially that dust up ran the course of every good fight promotion in history, lol.

I’ll always remember his name because he said ‘Mukesh rules’ when I was pulling him away. I’ll Never forget him.
