    Deontay Wilder's power

I must admit that I'm not that impressed when I look at Deontay Wilder's oppo on his record.

BUT, the fact that he stopped all of those cats is VERY VERY impressive. Some are bad boyz, like Scott, Ortiz or Stiverne.

I wanted to talk about D power, and from where this power comes from.
I don't think D is the most powerfull HW in the game, Joshua might have more power IMO, from the eye test.

Yet D is the most dangerous HW in the game.

    Here is why IMO

His reach/leverage, his awkard angles, his speed, his thin knuckles, his will to kill his oppo and the way he (over)loads his punches are all those x factors wich multiplies his power by X and makes of D one of the most dangerous HW all time.

That dude is a straight killer ala Saddler or Tommy Hearns.

The sad thing is this ability to ko his opponents led him to neglect his skills, especially his defense.

The weird thing is Deontay get sometimes outboxed but he never really get hit CLEAN, he always see the punches coming up with his size advantage, dude got a sharp eye.

Yeah you are right, that knockout on Malik was impressive, he didn't even touch him, the wind Windmill generate knocked Scott itself

Well you missed a few fights .

Take Duhaupas one , his eye was nearly closed and was hit often .

Wilder is hit clean however not by power punchers so it goes unnoticed .

We noticed in the Ortiz fight bc he has decent power .

Hes also not a clean puncher as he needs to be correctly aligned to throw correctly ..

Many of his K.O 's were set up by back of the head wild shots .

Look REAL close at the Stiverne first knock down and he lands in the back of his head cuffed shot which was the initial blow ( thats what Stiverne complained to Mercante about ) .

How many ACTUAL knock outs against reputable opposition does he have ?

      Well he has 2 .

      Stiverne and Ortiz .

Is his ability to hurt you important ? Yes but is he really the most dangerous ?

I believe that would go to the guy who doesn't give up rounds , has power in both hands , has a true boxing pedigree , doesn't rely on his actual size and whos K.O 'd the actual better opponents .

We know who this is !

I don't know how hard Wilder hits but he hits hard enough to scare the bejesus out of Aj and Hearn.

Joyce relies on size to overwhelm , he doesn't fit that profile .

The fact that tyson fury is 6’9 should make the fight interesting.

Its a myth that he loads up. Straight right 5th round against Ortiz was untelegrapged from the hip
