Comments Thread For: Tevin Farmer-James Tennyson, Galahad-Kahn Clary on Oct. 20

James Tennyson will challenge for a world title in his next fight. The reigning Commonwealth and European super-featherweight title holder is set to take on Tevin Farmer, the IBF king, in a couple of months' time. Tennyson has been out of the ring since knocking out Martin Joseph Ward at the O2 Arena in London back in May, exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office. But the 25-year-old (22-2, 18 KOs) will be back on October 20 against the American, who won the belt against Billy Dib in Australia earlier this month.

Wasn't it supposed to be Tank-Farmer? What happened to that fight?

Farmer has only himself to blame for his "we do it on my time" response back when he had a chance to fight Tank on MayGregor undercard.

So when Tank said that if Farmer won the Dib fight he'd face him in a unification, he was talking BS to get revenge for what happened a year ago? Or did Tank want to make the fight but then the Mares chance came up and he preferred that option?

It's a shame either way, I'd take Farmer over Mares.

Mares, for some reason, is higher rated, greater visible.

I frankly think Farmer is two shades up from bum and it's not a fight I'd want to see anyway.

am I really seeing an ad of Sky Sports Box Office in a boxing news?
