I certainly agree that making 152 had to have taken quite a toll on Canelo, and I am certain that that was critical to Mayweather's overall strategy. For those who haven't cut weight (or have been close to someone else who had to make a serious weight cut) the changes that can result from an extreme weight cut likely cannot be understood. For those who have, it is quite likely that they themselves or their friends/associates (who had to cut weight) could have predicted the troubles that awaited Canelo come fight night.

You dont win fight by numbers. You win fights by rounds.

You put pitty pat jabs ahead of clean Power punching. I was there live for that fight. Lara's punches you could barely even hear landing while Canelo's you could clearly hear and feel some shake the ring. Another thing YOU didnt see was them working Lara's body contstantly with a end-swell between rounds and seeing Lara grimace when they applied pressure to it on while Canelo's cutman didnt have to do sht. I can tell you Lara probably pissed blood for days after that fight.

I know your ****** and blind but Canelo was on the ropes for GgG to hit.

          This guys an IDIOT!!!!

GGG punches (actually jabs) landed per round.

          Round 1 - 5 more landed
          2 -None
          3 - 2
          4 - 5
          5 - 4
          6 - 1
          7 - 4
          8 - 10 finally something worth noting
          9 - 11
          10 - 5
          11 - 4
          12 - tie

          WOW
he landed about 50 more total punches than canelo and outlanded him in 10 of 12 rounds. Spin it however you want, but those are the facts. I've never seen a boxer ever get outlanded more than Canelo and still escape with lopsided scorecards in his favor. I can tell by the sensitivity of your response and childish name calling that the facts are slowly breaking you down. Everything I listed in this post and the other post are facts, not opinions. You know what's also a fact about Canelos trainers, they brilliantly had him try to out box mayweather. Lololololol. Floyd mayweather????? 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

Canelo landed the better punches. Cleaner, more effective lunches and had a whole lot more to the body landed as well

They fought completely different. If anything’s is considered running it is what lara did vs Canelo. Made for a boring dull fight. Canelo didn’t run he moved and maneuvered. Engaged and it mad for a good exciting fight. Canelo vs ggg was not a boring fight
