abel sanchez knows and understands boxing, and psychology too. he knows that mexican fans are prideful, and that if he calls canelo a runner enough times, the mexican fans will boo if canelo tries to box too much. mentally it puts pressure on canelo, and even if canelo is a real pro and isn't fazed by the taunts, it'll still create the perception in many fans minds that he's running

Let's explore this hypocrisy shall we. Now aside from the fact that Abel had trained one of the best pound for pound fighters of the early 90s, hall of famer Terry Norris, ggg is one of the longest reigning champions ever in the mw division. So I'm sure Sanchez knows something about boxing. Especially compared to the dio that trains canelo and never trained anyone else of relevance. But let's just look back at a Canelo quote when he fought lara.
"Canelo blames Lara for a lackluster fight. He says the Cuban stylist*failed to take him 'to the Cuban school of boxing.'
"What can I say about the fight? We knew that it was going to be that type of fight. We kept pressuring him and pressuring him, but we didn't know that it was going to be that long of a marathon," Canelo said." Yet now he wants to defend the art of the sweet science to hit and not get hit? Now granted there were differences between the performances of lara vs canelo and Canelo vs ggg. Lara outlanded Canelo and limited Canelo to landing just 97 punches. While canelo was outlanded by ggg by a significant margin. But by all means, carry on with the nonsense tho.

I was so hype for thaf fight tgat i got too drunk, to the point I dont remeber the fight and havent even seen it. But Canelo didnt give any excuses... Sp what else is there to say? He simply stated that he could not find floyd all night... Is all i remember. If Canelo would of said something like, "i got robbed" or any type of excuse than maybe I'd watch and judge it myself... No excuses though.... And tbh i dont care... Who cares that fight is done and over with. Canelo vs ggg 2 is all I care about. Ggg is going to get outboxed again, this time canelo will be more active and leave no doubt.

My point is that in his fight against Mayweather, Canelo neither fought intelligently nor adapted based on opponent and circumstance. The fight was like something out of a 1940's Warner Brothers cartoon. Short of stripping Saul out of his boxing trunks, there wasn't much at Mayweather did not do to Canelo in that fight.

Can't outbox floyd that was the ******est thing they could of came up with. I know one thing though, canelo wasn't afraid to let go of his 0... Went to 152 to make the fight... Ggg is lame.... Never fought out of 160. Canelo again, for the second time ever... Is willing to go to full 160 to make the fight for the fans... Phuck Ggg

Correct, look how much canelo has improved since then though... He was 23, went to 52.. All these things are facts bt still no excuses... Ylu sign that dotted line then you better perform. If you are willing to cash that check without excuses... Then takw the result the same way... No excuses and I respect that A lot about canelo.

Running means avoiding contact moving backwards.I think Canelo might stand and fight this time instead of moving.

Lara 107 punches out of 386
Canelo 169 out of 505 vs. ggg. Thats a big difference.

I know your ****** and blind but Canelo was on the ropes for GgG to hit.

                    This guys an IDIOT!!!!

GGG punches (actually jabs) landed per round.

                    Round 1 - 5 more landed
                    2 -None
                    3 - 2
                    4 - 5
                    5 - 4
                    6 - 1
                    7 - 4
                    8 - 10 finally something worth noting
                    9 - 11
                    10 - 5
                    11 - 4
                    12 - tie

                    WOW

Yes, there was a difference; however, in both fights, Canelo was out-struck by his opponent. Lara landed 1.1 punch for every 1 punch that Canelo landed. GGG landed 1.28 punches to ever 1 punch Canelo landed.
