It's clear Joshua and his team want very little to do with Wilder.Instead Tyson steps up to the plate and is in the fight of the year.A.J. instead settles for a guy of nearly forty years old who has never won the title.

I think Rob McCracken has it right and simply doesn't like the match up but it certainly looks bad on Joshua and Hearn with a fight that would create massive money to offer what they have......
i know what fight I will be paying to watch and it won't be Joshua v Povetkin !

the same champ that beat the guy you all brag about as a win for aj. klits, the same klits who came back after a loss a 2 year lay off and ZERO warm up fights.... let that sink in, now you all are preparing to downplay a win over fury who beat the klits YOU ALL BRAG ON AS AJS CAREER DEFINING WIN and has had 2 warm up fights. you guys just need to stop it.

No, YOU just need to stop it. Fury's been gone for 2.5 years, during which time he was suicidal, overeating & abusing drugs and alcohol. The man weighed nearly 400 lbs just one year ago! You know damned well he's not in top form and that's why Wilder especially wants him right now.

You would hope Joshua v Wilder happens sooner rather than later. If it is sooner (say April next year or Autumn next year at worst) then there's no chance that Wilder would have built his brand up that much to be able to compete with Joshua's at the moment.
Joshua already has his next two fights set; Povetkin, and then Whyte (with the hope that the WBO nonsense will finesse it's way into Joshua not having to fight Pulev next).

Not just anything brother, those factors are very real. You just choose to ignore them, though. And we're not even talking about Joshua, we're talking about Wilder vs Fury.

When Joshua said he'll come to the US for $50mil guaranteed, why you think finkel and wilder sent him a contract right after guaranteeing him his $50mil? Because they know how much the fight is worth. Dont you think it'll sell at least 700k PPV here in the US?
