Comments Thread For: Fury: I'd Love Another Fight Before Wilder, Not an Ideal World

TYSON FURY admits he could do with one more fight before a rumoured showdown for the world title. The former unified world heavyweight king, who went to Germany in November 2015 and dethroned Wladimir Klitschko to claim the WBA Super, IBF, IBO, WBO and Ring Magazine titles, made the second appearance of his comeback roadshow last week.

Love this guy and his attitude towards the sport. He seems in a better place mentally. Respect how he bounced back.

If you can find a proper opponent it is a great idea! However if the opponent is the same "opponent" you just had no it isn't a must!

proper opponent======someone who will "try" has no power to be safe but has some size and some heart.

His last opponents performance can be found in any decent gym.

To beat Wilder he needs much better conditioning starting with another 15 pound loss. Strengthen his legs then get mentally ready to win.

Make the fight date Jan/Feb . 2019 and have your prep fight in late Oct. 2018.

It's not a huge ppv event so there's no reason to over hype
the bout. Most sports fans never heard of either guy.

I've had weekend coffee with the same men for close to 15 years. An ex pro golfer, minor league baseball player and a ex pro race car driver and none of them care about boxing aty all. All of them followed boxing when Tyson and Evander along with
Big George were active. They describe today's boxing scene as boring and void of stars!

Wlad and lil" Floyd did well for themselves but did nothing to promote the sport!

Are you crazy? Have you seen Floyds PPV numbers? Most ppl that buy Floyds fights are casual fans you sound like a straight hater. Now Wladimir I agree he has no personality in or outside the ring.

This fight will do better than you think on PPV. Tyson has the UK fans and Deontay will bring some ppl. It should do above average. But they need good undercards .

He's setting up his excuses already. He will either pull out of the fight claiming he needs another fight, or he will look like crap during the fight and say that he needed another fight. Either way, he's a turd for running his mouth and not backing it up. The only way he wins is if he takes the fight and wins via boring, running decision. And if that actually happens, we will never hear the end of Tyson Fury's mouth as he avoids AJ claiming they won't pay him enough.
