They are already selling the rematch. He's doing the David Haye retirement package plan.

proper opponent======someone who will "try" has no power to be safe but has some size and some heart.

His last opponents performance can be found in any decent gym.

To beat Wilder he needs much better conditioning starting with another 15 pound loss. Strengthen his legs then get mentally ready to win.

Make the fight date Jan/Feb . 2019 and have your prep fight in late Oct. 2018.

It's not a huge ppv event so there's no reason to over hype
the bout. Most sports fans never heard of either guy.

I've had weekend coffee with the same men for close to 15 years. An ex pro golfer, minor league baseball player and a ex pro race car driver and none of them care about boxing aty all. All of them followed boxing when Tyson and Evander along with
Big George were active. They describe today's boxing scene as boring and void of stars!

Wlad and lil" Floyd did well for themselves but did nothing to promote the sport!

its truly a sad thing to see how much boxing has lost the casual fans compared to 10-15 years ago. I literally cant talk boxing with anybody besides the few people I know that semi-give a shhht. We were really spoiled during the Oscar, Hopkins,Mosley, RJJ Pac, May, Cotto, days. Spence, Bud, Usyk, Loma, kov, Mikey, wilder, AJ, Fury charlos, etc. -the average sports fan could walk past all these guys and not have a clue who they were

At least he is honest assessing himself. I mean factually he has no chance against Wilder. Boxing ain't maths and anything can happen. You are not gonna dance around in Wilder's backyard and get a decision. You have to beat Wilder soundly to deserve that. The performance against Klitschko won't get you the belt in Vegas. You would need a performance akin to USYK against Grassiev to get that belt.It is Al haymon show mate.

Sometimes I question how much boxing posters here actually watch.

This quote came from his post-fight interview where he clearly had no reservations about taking the fight.

That interview has about an aggregate of about 1 million views across the relevant YouTube channels. Keep up fellas.

This was just another clickbait title.

Anyone who thinks fury doesn't need 1-2 more fights against decent opponents is probably a wilder fan hoping for the easiest path to victory.

Stevia wonder could see he needs another 2/3 fights before facing the top 2 HW. He might be able to get away with it against anyone else not named Joshua or Wilder but those two at this moment would stop him. Issue is when you point this out then you get called a hater. I have said it before anyone getting Fury now is getting him at the best time, even Bellew wanted this Fury but would not entertain fighting Wilder, Whyte or Joshua.

Plenty of time to do lots of hard sparring. No excuses. If Fury is off drugs than he has a legit chance of winning. Speed will be key in this fight.

Vitali came back after almost four years at 37 yo and spanked a prime Peter like a child.. and Fury wants another Pinata? I know, Peter wasn´t the best boxer in the world but he was tough and heavy handed.
