FACTS , Fury couldn't stop a journeyman in his last fight, there is nothing great about looking slick versus a smaller, flat footed, unathletic journeyman who knows he already is in a lost fight.

Fury should fight Jennings next, a solid guys who comes to win and is a real test. Then we know if he still can be in a fight. Pianeta, Seferi never gave him a fight.

We don't know if Fury can MENTALLY deal with a real threat.
Those guys didn't even have a puncher chance, too small, predictable and slow.

I wish success to boxing. I want it to be a big event as it is a huge heavyweight title fight.
If the PPV flops it just really shows you how popular boxing and heavyweights are in the USA.
Boxing is a sport. But unfortunately it is also a business.

If Crawford vs. Spence was big enough and would sell a guarantee of 1M PPV buys, then it would have happened already.

After seeing Fury's fight Saturday, I don't see how his & Wilders' future fight(s) will somehow displace Joshua. All roads lead to the unified HW champion of the world. Joshua is where the titles and big money are.

Understand your frustration but Hearn and Joshua created the need for this freak show. The freak show (and admittedly that is what it is) is designed to undermine Hearn's control of who fights who for the championship and by doing so steal some of the enormous revenue being generated. Hearn's hand is being forced to stop protecting Joshua from fighting the real contenders.

Not any more. And to make it worse for AJ, his credibility as the "true" champ and the best heavyweight is now in extreme doubt.

I really enjoyed this article. As a boxing fan, I’m grateful for these two fighters. Much respect to both.

Wilder has never been in the ring with a guy around his height, with decent boxing skills, decent chin - and most of all is as crazy as him.

My prediction for this circus sideshow is either a Draw, or decision either way. It's only draw is it's unpredictability, and if I didn't know better, Wilder and Fury being such chums means they could certainly write the script for the fight for the benefit of both of them.
Fury will be on his toes, Jabbing and holding when in close, with Wilder occasionally throwing some windmills with his eyes shut.

Maybe I'll be wrong, but styles make fights, and Wilder, also knows his career is almost over if he loses to Fury, because he won't have anything to bargain with when it comes time to ink a Joshua - Wilder deal.

AJ v Povetkin is way more exciting. Povetkin comes forward in a very similar way to old Iron Mike, gloves tucked under the chin, looking to slip punches and throw overhand rights, lefts, and shots to the body.
AJ will drill him hard for 3-4 rounds before Poorvetkin goes out on his shield.
C'mon, how ****** do these writers think we are?
fury vs wilder is a bigger fight no matter what. Criticize all you want, they took a big chunk of money from the hw market. Are you aj fan?
