I'd rather trust Hearn than this Finkel person who says things like,
"My baby won't be rushed to fight an aging Klitschko."
Do you really need these types of over-protective people in this sport?
He did nothing in the negotiations but to engage in back and forth nonsense on social media like a teenager.
He wouldn't even meet with Hearn in person.
Of course, he would want to satisfy his emotions by doing something drastic to prove Hearn wrong by contacting Fury's team like a crying, pregnant teen.
    That's what kids do.

Joshua fans have been saying what a bum Ortiz is ever since he lost to Wilder but if he's such a bum then why did Wilder have such a hard fight vs him? I watched Fury yesterday and I saw what made him formidable opponent is his size paired with his athleticism. He isn't ever going to return to the Fury that beat Wilder because that man was younger. Wilder could have fought that version but for he went into hiatus. I've pointed that out before. So quit with the chain of excuses. The man hasn't even lost yet FFS!!
If Ortiz is a bum, and he gave Wilder a hard fight, then so could Fury.

I spoke to John Fury, Tysons dad and he even admitted to me that Tyson is only at 40-50% of the level he was at 3 years ago! I spoke to a couple others in his camp who believe they can do with another fight before going into this Wilder! fight.

Tyson himself said he would like one more fight before fighting wilder so I don't understand why they are rushing into this!

This won't be a 100% Tyson that will be fighting Wilder! Absolute FACT!

We have waited 5 years for this wilder vs Fury fight. So why don't we demand that we wait a bit longer until fury is at his absolute best instead of rushing into this! Furys legacy being put into the wolves!
We can't demand a damn thing. We have no say in the matter what so ever. What makes you think we do? Fury is as ready as he is ever going to be. Quit making excuses for him in advance. You are trying to turn the Fury who beat Wlad into some incredible unbeatable fighter that he NEVER was. He beat a shot to hell sub par Wlad in a dull lousy fight. The Fury vs Wilder fight is happening in November or December and there is nothing anybody can do about it. The only one who can call it off is Fury himself. I look forward to the fight. It should be a good fight.

Really bad. Fury looks ok, but still way off being truly sharp imo.

I’ve said before, great business from Wilder, but this fight shouldn’t be happening yet.
Don't think he left first gear though.

If he does beat Fury, Wilder would need to say Fury gave me a great fight even not at his best. I will rematch him further down line.
                Then its ok.
                What he gonna say then?

Wilder: “oh I didn’t beat a 100% fury so my stock didn’t really rise up in that fight. I don’t deserve more than 15 million against aj”

                Absolutely not

Of course he’d go oh I beat the lineal champ i beat the more difficult fighter. I beat the bigger star. I beat the one Aj was scared of lol

It’s a choice of Fury to go in there. And he knows himself more than anyone else. If he gets KO that is not Wilder’s fault. They are all professional fighters, if they signed they signed.

And I’m rooting for Fury btw. But at the same time want an undefeated Wilder against Aj.
                So fk it.

I’m probably the only who’d be happy if it gets cancelled. Aside from hearn lol

I'm a fan of Fury but lets not line up premeditated excuses and make him out to be some master boxer. If anything Ortiz had always had the better boxing skills. Also, it's not Wilders fault that Fury abused his body and had what seemed a mental breakdown.

With that said, Fury still has a chance to win this if he makes it a stinker with his negative style and avoids that monster right hand all 12. Wilder is there to be outboxed at all times but his freak power is always present to wreck you.

It's a shame Fury's attitude to his comeback has been to fight 2 zero risk opponents and then take a big money fight but that's the choice he made. Also he knows he can use the 'I wasn't ready, I have too much heart, what a legend I am, gonna fight a couple more bums then go for a rematch or AJ and be ready' and there will still be multiple press releases every day where he compares himself to Ali.

I don't agree with the view 'he says he's ready so of course he is' line. Sergio Martinez said he was 100% and his knees were fine before the Cotto fight and we saw how that worked out. But Fury has more left than Sergio did, and sometimes in boxing it's better to just be happy to get the fight early/late rather than not at all. HW boxing is unpredictable, it's possible that if they don't fight now the landscape changes, somebody loses, and we never see the fight. Let's be honest, nobody was excited for Wilder-Breazeale and Fury-fringe contender to finish 2018, this fight getting done is good news.

I do get where you're coming from, you're a Fury fan and want him to be 100%. I think that even if he had 3 solid comeback fights there would still be people who felt he was short of elite level, but it's true he didn't look impressive last night. But from a neutral perspective it's still a really good fight, and Fury's unpredictability means 1) he could still win 2) he might not even be back in the sport that long before having more issues, so maybe it's best he just fight someone meaningful ASAP.

Fury IS ready and truly believes he can beat Wilder. As he himself said in the Pianeta post-fight conference, it's not about the belts and it's not about the money. He and Wilder are cut from the same cloth when it comes to being champion: they need to fight the best to prove to THEMSELVES that they are the best.

                      Simple as that.

This is what real champions do...
